Care Aides

Mountainview Homecare is dedicated to bringing clients caring, certified, and experienced care aides. We guarantee consistent Care Aides who will deliver quality and respectful personal care.

Assessment

Owner-operator, Nickaleana Duhamel personally visits each client weekly or biweekly. She sits down and talks to each one to reassess the care they are receiving. Her concern is that the care meets each client's expectations and maximizes his or her Activities of Daily Living.

Experience Fifteen years experience interacting with the elderly, beginning as a youth volunteer at Summerland Lodge, helping with various activities and sitting down to talk to the residents.  Companion Care Ltd., in Summerland, helping the residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). Care Aide for a 30-year-old male quadriplegic on life support, a very challenging but valuable experience. The techniques and knowledge acquired here developed a greater understanding of the problems and viewpoints of people of all ages.

Education

Sprott Shaw Community College-Resident Care Attendant (Long-Term Care Aide) program and graduated in June of 2001.
